KUCHING, April 10 (Bernama) -- Two youths from Sarawak will be part of the 20-strong Malaysian contingent to the World Skills Competition (WSC) 2019 which will take place from Aug 22-27 in Kazan, Russia.
Deputy Human Resources Minister Datuk Mahfuz Omar said the duo are Hanafi Osman from GiatMara, Saratok who will be competing in the Fashion Technology segment and Ahmad Naim Mohamad Rosli from the Sarawak branch of Akademi Binaan Malaysia.
Ahmad Naim will be competing in the Painting and Decorating category.
Mahfuz was speaking to reporters after making a courtesy call on Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at the Chief Minister’s Office, Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
